BIOGRAPHY
Felix Neumann was born in 1975 as the son of the singer Angelika Andres and the director Volkmar Neumann. Influenced by the musical environment of his mother, he began his musical training by learning to play the piano and the drums at the age of seven.
After finishing his studies at the University of Music „Hanns Eisler“ in Berlin, he started his musical career as a singer and arranger in the very successful acapella band Total Vocal. Together with the band he performed in various German and European cities and gained his first production experiences, as well as a record deal with BMG and four Long Players. In this period the classic and pop-influenced musician and singer collaborated with productions of the labels Sony Music and Universal Music and various artists, such as Mister Toms, Franceso Wilking, Funky Potato Club, Rhythm Monks and Stefan Jürgens.
As a music producer and music director he created more than 200 orchestra arrangements / orchestrations and over 1,000 song productions. He successfully worked together with internationally known stars, such as Ute Lemper, Marlon Roudette, Jimmy Somerville, Nik Kershaw, Andrew Roachford, Westbam, Schiller, Howard Jones and the Gewandhausorchester. He is a co-founder of the Berlin Show Orchestra and produces Misses Toms, Angelstrings, Mokkasin, Funky Potato Club, Dum Tak Revolution and other artists.
Under his alias Mokkasin, he creates electronic music productions and remixes for Black Eyed Peas, Monosurround, Caracho, etc.
As a coach and lecturer he assists in the development of young music talents.
